Nugen's House
The turn of the century home in which Nugen's House of Interiors is located is a wonderful showplace for the treasures offered for sale. The 5,000 square foot home was originally built for Dr. Irvin O. Buchtel in 1899 by his father, a general contractor from Ligonier. This fact might explain the grandeur of the Buchtel Homestead. Eighty-five years later, the Nugens bought the home. The house was remodeled, restored and redecorated for nine long months. It was returned to its original magnificent beauty.
